AVCS partners with several international student agencies in providing a quality education for students from many countries throughout the world. If you are an interested family, please check with your agency to see if they send students to our school.

New International Student Applications
for 2018-2019

Applications for enrollment at AVCS for the 2018-2019 school year will be accepted beginning February 1, 2018.  Once your international students have been accepted, the new student enrollment process will begin on March 1, 2018.  Please contact Cameron Chien, cchien@avcschool.com, to begin your application.

APPLICATION FEE – $200

This fee is not refundable and is required for AVCS to begin looking at an application packet.

I-20 FEE:  $300.00   This nonrefundable I-20 fee is due by June 1, 2018.  Late submissions will incur an additional $50.00 (delivery/postage fee).

TUITION DEPOSIT:  $1,000.00 is due by June 1, 2018 and is nonrefundable

ORIENTATION FEE (New Students Only): $400.00

ESL PRE-REGISTRATION FEE:  $1,750

This fee covers five (5) semesters of ESL/ELL coursework (through the AVCS online academy).  Each student will be allowed to take a placement test before they are placed in class and any ESL/ELL classes that they test out of will be refunded at $275/course.  Students will also be given academic credit for ESL/ELL courses tested out of or completed while at AVCS.

PAYMENT DUE AS FOLLOWS:  Tuition must be paid in full at time of enrollment, as well as the mandatory fees listed belowStudents will not be allowed to begin classes until this payment is received by AVCS.

Withdrawals:  Students are considered enrolled for the entire year at the time of admission.  Tuition and fees will not be refunded if a student withdraws for any reason or is asked to leave due to disciplinary or academic reasons.

Tuition and fees must be paid in full by August 1, 2018. 

 MANDATORY FEES

  • Textbooks Fee – $100 (if paid by cash or check) or $105 (if paid by credit card/debit card)
  • Middle School Activity Fee – $75 (if paid by cash or check) or $80 (if paid by credit card/debit card)  This fee covers all MS SLT-sponsored activities for the school year (Back-to-School Party, Bowling Day, Evening of Elegance, and End-of-Year Party).  This fee is required regardless of whether or not the student chooses to attend the event.
  • Middle School/High School Yearbook Fee – $90 (if paid by cash or check) or $95 (if paid by credit card/debit card) All secondary students will receive a yearbook at the end of the school year.  Elementary students may choose to purchase a yearbook at the time of enrollment.
  • Yearbook Senior Dedication Page Fee – $65 (if paid by cash or check) or $70 if paid by credit card/debit card) Seniors must purchase a senior dedication page in the yearbook.  They may choose to be reimbursed through sponsorship.

FEES FOR OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES/CLASSES

These fees must be paid prior to your student participating in the chosen activity.

 

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSIONS
FINANCIAL INFORMATION FOR 2017-2018:

ENROLLMENT FEE – $200 (nonrefundable)
